Avoid faux merino wool - hideous
While the install was smooth and I’m happy now, it took a lot of additional time and money to get there. The fabric I ordered (faux merino wool) was terrible to say the least. It was cheap velvet with a merino wool like picture printed on it. It looked dirty or like cork — nothing like wool. I knew it was going to be faux but it’s like the designer of this fabric had no idea what wool feels or looks like. Terrible. I ended up purchasing upholstery fabric to reupholster the panels with but this took a significant amount of time and money beyond what I had initially planned to invest in this project.

How do I clean an upholstered headboard?
Dust your fabric headboard regularly.
To clean vinyl and PU upholstery, spot clean with a white damp cloth, blot to remove excess water, and leave to air dry.
To clean weave, suede, or velvet bedroom wall panels sprinkle some baking soda on a damp cloth and apply to the stain, blotting lightly. Let it rest for 2 hours or until dry. Wipe off residue with a dry cloth and vacuum.
For tough stains, consult with a professional upholstery cleaner.
Where should I begin mounting the panels?
We recommend mounting the scalloped panels right above the base of your bed. However, the panels are freestanding and can be mounted at your preferred point.
Can I attach the panels to the bed?
The panels are mounted on to the wall and do not attach to the bed in any way.
What's included?
Each set includes the wall mounted panels, screws, bracket mounting system, and a clear set of instructions. The bed frame is sold separately.
